Nobody has yet refuted my previous view - that phone polls are now flawed because they fail to include mobile phones, and many wealthier people (Liberals) have dumped landlines in their homes. With WiFi they don't need landlines for data or voice comms.

Peter, it's probably because your assumption is wrong the moment it comes out. . The margin for error regardless is incontessably small. I mean, what about all the people out doing labor during the day or on the long commute home that arn't included!

Hopefully a landslide in the lower house, since a double dissolution may be needed next year. The "me too" tactic, crucial to an opposition campaign, has locked too much Howard into future Labor social policy, this would be a chance to chuck it.

Why is Christian so certain that "the annihilation" - aka The landslide - will not happen? The result he has in mind is very possible but no more possible - or no more "honest and plausible" - than a very strong Labor win.
