What about an apology for the lie about keeping interest rates low? A bit more honesty a few years back would have allowed at least some people to make some different choices about how much debt to take on.

Dream on if you think Howard made a big gaffe, and even more so if you think it has any comparison with Garret letting the truth out that Labor are lying their way through the campaign. Do you want a competent PM or a catchphrase spinmeister?
