Joy oh joy! Antony Green’s election calculator and masses of Newspoll results all appear on the same day. It’s time to settle down for a weekend of wonkery.

Now, using Antony’s calculator, do the swings and give us the numbers in the notional new House of Representatives. I reckon they would give the ALP another 40 odd seats – plus Bass and Braddon in Tasmania and Solomon in the Top End.
